The Story of a Miracle: What a Difference a Year can Make
What a difference a year can make. Catching up to speed after a long hiatus from writing. This blog is the story of the miracle of God’s timing and provision in my life this past year as well as a tribute to W.D. Mounger, my grandfather.
Healthy Choices, Healthy Changes
Making healthier choices and stressing less are two primary goals I have for this year. In this post, I share about my experience in the Faster Way to Fat Loss fitness and healthy eating program. which I joined to help me reach my health and fitness goals. I am LOVING this program so far! This program is helping me learn how to eat healthy foods and live to be healthy not to lose weight. As to stressing less, I reflect on the power, freedom, and lightness that I have found through prayer.

Hope it helps you plan your own adventure!
Monterey Jack: “Parenting” Lessons from a Puppy Mama
For the first blog post, I wrote about my “puppy” Monterey Jack because he brings me so much laughter and joy. The best advice I have for any aspiring writer is to start by writing joyfully meaning write about things that bring you joy. This is so important because we lose our motivation when we lose our joy. Writing fun pieces (about puppies) is a way to maintain your joy in your writing to help you persevere as you develop those pieces you are really passionate about writing.
Disclaimer: After “raising” Monterey Jack I feel so much more prepared to be a parent someday through what I’ve learned NOT to do. Thank goodness he’s just a puppy.
